In Torrance, the busiest hours are Friday and Saturday evenings and any night with a big game, when quoted delivery times can stretch past an hour; ordering before 5 p.m. or picking up yourself avoids the wait. Delivery radiuses are small, often two to five miles, and a minimum order plus a delivery fee is normal, with a tip of a few dollars for the driver on top. Lunch specials such as two slices and a drink, or a personal pie, are the cheapest way to eat at most shops across California on weekdays. Toppings are priced per item and half-and-half pies are usually free to request. Gluten-free crusts and vegan cheese are increasingly common but often cost a few dollars extra, and cross-contact in a shared oven is standard unless the shop says otherwise.

They had the perfect blend of pizza sauce and cheese with the pepperoni. I got a medium so that's why 4 star the crust was a little too thick but I am giving the benefit of a doubt due to it being a medium. The pizza loving kid gave it a 2 thumbs up !

SHORT VERSION: New York style pizza on the left coast! Very good, decent prices, okay small dining area (but you get a slice to go, right?) LONG VERSION: I found this place by accident while looking for something less typical when I was in town for a conference. Bonello's popped up on my search and had decent reviews, so I thought I'd give it a try. I was hungry, so I ordered two slices and a Diet Coke. Let me tell you the two things that were wrong. The slices each fit on a paper plate. A real New York slice would hang off the plate. But these were a good size, so that's not really a complaint about anything but the look of the slice. Second problem is even more nit-picky and meaningless! Each slice was cut down the middle. We'll, that's not right! A NY slice isn't cut, it's meant to be folded. But this place is in California, so the probably don't get a lot of customers who are familiar with the fold. Maybe they are just catering to their clients expectations. Why do I mention these two things up front? Because the pizza and the service were freakin' awesome! I could have been stopping in any corner joint in the big apple. They took care of me (and the dozen or so other custo

Not the friendliest nor helpful employees. The menu on the board was hard to see and no other menus were available so I didnβt know what they had other than pizza but heard another customer order antipasto. I asked for one slice of mushroom and one of plain. I received four slices which explains the price. The crust was NOT like NY pizza at all. Instead, it was doughy and buttery like a buttered roll. The rest however, was pretty close to NY pizza but not quite. They would NOT provide parmesan to go so I had to use the common one container for everyone before I took my take out order. No idea about drinks as I couldnβt see the fountain. Atmosphere is blasΓ©. Overall it was good but not great nor authentic NY pizza.

I ordered two cheese pizza slices and a drink for lunch. Everyone at Bonello's was friendly, and the prices are great. The crust was thin and flavorful. The cheese and tomato sauce were well portioned. I enjoyed it and recommend for a New York style pizza.

In the quest to find a good NY style pizza place in the South Bay we decided to try this spot. Curbside Service was prompt and quick. They took our order over the phone and were informative on the pizza sizes and such. The dough was good. Cheese and herbs seasoning were good. It wasnβt stretchy or stringy but it hd a good flavor. Tomato sauce was good as well. Not a lot of flop. Not 100% NY style but Iβd order it again. It was good and had a good flavor and texture.
